Question 1

1. Is the BEPLAIN Cicaterol Toner on koreanshopbd.com authentic?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all BEPLAIN products on koreanshopbd.com are sourced from authorized suppliers. Contact the team via Facebook or Instagram before ordering to confirm stock.

Question 2

2. Why does this toner only have three ingredients?

Accepted Answer

BEPLAIN's clean beauty philosophy prioritizes removing unnecessary ingredients rather than adding more, with the goal of reducing the number of potential irritants a sensitive or reactive skin type is exposed to daily. The three ingredients chosen — Centella Asiatica Extract, Beta-Sitosterol, and 1,2-Hexanediol — each serve a specific and clinically supported function with no overlap or filler.

Question 3

3. What is Beta-Sitosterol and why is it called Cicaterol?

Accepted Answer

Beta-Sitosterol is a phytosterol found naturally in fruits, vegetables, nuts, and plants that has a molecular structure similar to cholesterol found in human skin. BEPLAIN trademarked it as "Cicaterol" after introducing it to Korean cosmetics as a barrier-stabilizing ingredient that enhances the recovery and protective benefits of Centella Asiatica beyond what the raw extract alone can achieve.

Question 4

4. Can I use this toner if I have active acne or open blemishes?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the formula is fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and clinically tested safe for acne-prone skin. It has also passed irritation safety testing, making it appropriate even on broken or actively inflamed skin, where most toners would sting or worsen irritation.

Question 5

5. How can I use this toner as a mini mask?

Accepted Answer

Soak a cotton pad generously with the toner and press it flat against areas of redness or congestion for 3 to 5 minutes before removing it and patting any remaining product into the skin. This method is recommended by BEPLAIN for days when skin needs more intensive soothing care than a standard single-pass application provides.

Question 6

6. Is this toner suitable to use before actives like acids or retinol?

Accepted Answer

Yes, applying this toner before actives helps pre-hydrate and stabilize the skin's surface, which can reduce the irritation sensitivity that comes with first applying exfoliating or vitamin A-based ingredients to a dry, tight face. Its ultra-gentle formula will not interact with or destabilize any common active ingredients used after it.

Question 7

7. How long does delivery take in Bangladesh?

Accepted Answer

Dhaka orders arrive in 1 to 2 business days. All other districts are delivered within 3 to 5 business days, with COD available.
