Question 3

How long does delivery take in Bangladesh?

Accepted Answer

Dhaka orders arrive in 1 to 2 business days. All other districts are delivered within 3 to 5 business days, with COD available.

Question 4

How does a cleansing oil actually remove makeup and sunscreen?

Accepted Answer

Cleansing oils work through the like-dissolves-like principle — oil-based impurities such as sunscreen, sebum, and foundation dissolve into the cleansing oil on contact. When water is added, the oil emulsifies and lifts all dissolved impurities off the skin, rinsing away cleanly without rubbing or friction.

Question 5

Can a cleansing oil clog pores or cause acne?

Accepted Answer

This formula is non-comedogenic, meaning it is specifically formulated not to block pores. The lightweight plant-based oils used — sunflower and jojoba — have a low comedogenic rating and emulsify completely with water, leaving no pore-clogging residue behind when rinsed correctly.

Question 6

What is double cleansing and why should I do it?

Accepted Answer

Double cleansing is a Korean skincare method where an oil cleanser removes oil-based impurities like sunscreen and makeup in the first step, followed by a water-based foam or gel cleanser to remove any remaining residue. One cleanser alone rarely removes both types of impurities effectively, particularly in Bangladesh, where daily SPF use is essential.

Question 7

Is DR.ALTHEA Gentle Pore Vegan Cleansing Oil suitable for sensitive skin?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The plant-based formula is free from harsh surfactants and common irritants. It is gentle enough for sensitive and reactive skin types and can be used daily without causing redness, dryness, or barrier disruption.
